I dipped my toe back into the world of food delivery (poor choice of words there) for a short stint at Just Eat.
I wasn’t at Just Eat for a very long time, but I worked on full campaigns for Black Friday and New Years – both big moments in the Just Eat calendar.
For Black Friday the challenge was that JE wanted to give out free dishes for the entire long weekend, rather than just on Black Friday itself. They were building on a campaign called Freebie Friday, and they wanted the Black Friday activation to feel like a continuation of that campaign, while feeling distinct from it at the same time.
I pitched the line Freebies for Days and we built the rest of the campaign around it. The brief required email copy, push notification, in-app messaging and DOOH placements.
